“A live show that breaks convention” - TEDx

You may call her Queen Dom, her mom did as a child and now, Toronto born pop-soul, singer/ songwriter Domanique Grant is claiming it, as the title of her EP album QUEENDOM.

Domanique’s early childhood having lived in Canada, Uganda, and Argentina, gifted her with a myriad of lived experience that has translated into her superpowers of songwriting and connection with live audiences. Woven together by a theme of healing and empowerment, Domanique’s music is inspired by Sade, Tems and Lizzo. A blend of infectious feel good pop/soul anthems, blended with alternative and world influences.

Domanique’s diverse sound and engaging live show, makes her perfect for any stage. 2025 will be a big year for Domanique as she releases her EP Black, through Universal Music Group, alongside opening for 4x Juno award winning Singer/ Songwriter Jully Black’s “Songs and Stories ” Tour.

Domanique’s ability to transform personal adversities into the vulnerability and raw courage behind her music, has led to her being the first Singer/ Songwriter to be added to The Canada’s Top 100 Most Powerful Womens list for 2023. Under the “Women of Courage” category, the young artist was celebrated for impact off stage, in addition to her award winning EP album QUEEN/DOM, which explores the human journey to claiming your crown as a woman.

Produced by Grammy nominated producer Jarrel The Young (DRAKE - Certified Lover Boy 2021), music off of the QUEEN/DOM double EP has led to nominations by Amazon Canada/ Women In Music Canada for Artist of The Year, recognition from Spotify Canada, for “artists to look out for” and her debut single Airbrush entered Top 40 AC radio in Canada, being shortlisted by Youtube hits.
