You may call her Queen Dom. Her mom did as a child, and now Domanique is reclaiming it as the title of her double EP QUEEN/DOM where she explores the journey to self-love, generational healing, and claiming your crown as a woman.

Domanique Grant is a Pop-Soul Singer/Songwriter and Speaker from Toronto, named one of Buzzfeed's top 20 artists to watch. Her unconventional upbringing, having lived in Canada, Uganda, and Argentina before the age of 22 translated into an instant superpower, connection. With music that is healing, empowering, and genre-bending all at the same time, Domanque's sound is a fusion of feel-good pop, moody R&B, and soul.  

Domanique's songwriting makes her music and presence, magnetic to any audience that hears her. Domanique’s body-positive single ‘Airbrush’ off of her double EP Queen/Dom was shortlisted by The Rogers Emerging Artist radio program and ‘YouTube Hits’ attaining radio rotation on Top 40 AC radio including Kiss Radio. Her collaborations with Grammy Award-winning producer Jarrel ‘The’ Young (Drake 2021, The Weeknd 2020, Fall Out Boyz 2019) and a pandemic song that went viral worldwide. In 2023, Domanique was named a Women in Music Canada Honouree presented by Spotify Canada and was named WIC Amazon Artist of the Year.

Domanique’s music has been featured in campaigns by LOreal Paris, sync placements with Unilever brands ( Vaseline, Shea Moisture, Dove), a campaign with RBCxMusic that was featured during the Grammy awards in a national commercial spot highlighting Canadian emerging artists and a live show that’s been praised by Ted Talk. 

Her catchy infectious songs have been compared to Lizzo and Tones and I, while her milky tone, lyrical versatility and powerful lyrics echo her up-bring on the 90's influences of TLC, Lauren hill and Aretha Franklin.
